I just got a 379 and I want to take the heavy kit Hendrickson steerable pusher axle off. I would like to replace it with a lighter one. I have heard that the Lynx axles are shorter overall and if I use one then I could get the tire closer to the fuel tanks thus giving me a greater bridge length. I am partial to the Hendrickson name and quality but would like to hear about any experiences with Lynx suspensions or any other suggested namebrands.
