I turn in a monthly maint report in to my co, every month. I just read in h.d.t. magazine that the d.o.t. has done away with this requirement by drivers, unless there was something, major repaired. any one hear about this? my co say's they have no knowledge of the changed provision & I do not have the article anymore to scan & post.
I should say I read it a couple months ago & just remembered it. & is why I do not have the magazine, was discarded by some one in the household.
The company I am leased to requires it each month and has it built in to the log books we use. They take it serious enough that if it isnt in by the 10th of the following month then you are red flagged. If it was changed, then I dont think they would take it so serious.
If you ever are involved in a fatality cash when DOT comes in to do a audit there going to look to make sure you stay on top of things and not having that a lawyer will be on you like stink on Chet It's only once a month I put all my daly reports with them with paper work on what I've had done it only takes five min and could save your #####
