So I was going thru a list of tanker companies in my area, went on MC Tank lines' website and saw what they were offering for company drivers. I do local Intermodal right now(SUCKS). Did tankers a while ago and I gotta say that is that side of trucking that I truly enjoyed and im thinking going back. Anybody has any info on MC??

Rookie I'm not with them anymore, went back to heavy equipment but thinking of going back to tanking. I drove out of the Chattanooga term for MC for lil over a year. Everyone I dealt with from the company was cool as can be. It always had that small personal company feel. Mike something or other is was the manager in Bensalem. Really nice guy. Good pay, good miles, decent equipment. I was home more nights than not. Good luck.

Hey man I tried them out for two weeks when I moved up here. Mike the terminal manager is a great guy, really laid back. For the most part all the drivers were chill there, I just didn't feel all that confident after training and I was assigned a Cascadia with mismatched steers, and in really rough condition that would've definitely been put out of service. I was missing lots of hoses and connectors and for a new guy starting tankers I felt really uneasy, honestly gave me a bad feeling about it because they acknowledged that it was bad but still wanted me to run it. Plus at that time UPS had offered me a seasonal job which I took since it was closer to home plus tried to get in with brown. They are buying newer Volvos and their furic acid tanks were newer although O/O usually use them.

Hourly rate, local guys are usually out and back although they do assign you a sleeper for the occasional layover. Shifts were around 11-12 hours. Mostly serving just about the same customers. I was only there two weeks so not much I can really say. You have some actual tanker experience so you may just like it.
