Hello Gents, I am in a bind and need some help. I have been medically retired from the Army due to an amputation for 10 years now and it was getting old so I figured I would start a trucking service. I have an awesome rig and trailer, all of the insurance 1mil truck and trailer/ 100k cargo, all of my numbers and basically everything I need to start running including a mountain of debt getting it all set up. the only thing I am missing is loads. I am based out of Weatherford, Texas and would really appreciate it if anyone had numbers of brokers or any other work they know if originating in the north texas area. Anything is much appreciated.

Pay for one of the load boards, speak to the broker and move the load. Just do it. No one to hold you up. You must sink or swim. I hope you have enough capital to keep you afloat for 90 days or so. Watch the other trucks, talk to the other drivers, watch the you tubes to learn as much as you can, and work your axx off. It will be hard for the first year and once the money starts to flow it will be a little easier. It will be some of the hardest and some of he most rewarding work you can do.

Spend the money for quality tires and keep the maintenance up on your rig. A little money now can save you money in the future.
