Does anyone know which companies offer company drivers the option of automatic transmissions?

trans am I forgot the rest but I would never drive an auto that is why I did not apply to them. I went to school to learn to shift the trucks.

I have had both of my hips replaced and have driven sticks. I have found that in the long haul it is very uncomfortable to drive a standard, that is why I am looking for the auto.

That is certainly understandable. What gets under my skin is those that simply don't want to learn or even worse are too lazy to learn.

Just watch out some autos you still need to clutch.
I do not have all the details on that but just what I have heard.

PAM has autoshift although I can't recommend them as a company to work for. Our experience has been sitting days between loads, low pay and lower miles.

Hartt trans out of bangor me,auburn me,sumter s.c., us express is well known for autos,I drive a smart shift auto for Hartt with no clutch,I love it,first auto for me in over 40 years and I love the extra space on the floor to walk by and close your curtains etc.

    Its true.

Until you got to the current "smart auto" offerings you still needed a clutch to engage the trans and start out with it. The only benefit was you didn't have to hand shake your way thru the gears. I only use a clutch for starting and sitting in gear waiting to start with a manual trans. I fail to see much difference.
