My First Day goin to Melton

So far the bus ride was not good at all ....all them #### stops im tire as hell. I got class tomarrow at 7:45 at youngtowns. update tomarrow

First Day class went good road test,dot physical,paperwork............7:45 - 4:00 lots of videos and paperwork but that's most jobs............

 

Keep us informed, Melton has been after me to join them.

Second Day sideshows,learning how to strap loads down and we got the 50 dollar visa you get the other 150 in cash when orientation is over. today was steady oh yeah they buy you lunch but dinner your on yo own the hotel provide free breakfast waffles,cereal,fruit,hard boil eggs,donuts stuff like that today melton bought us subway yesterday they bought us pasta now this is at youngtowns terminal so if you go to tulsa i dont know how it is there...........

 

Third Day we strapped again took a couple open book test and was issue a truck drive kenworth. Today for lunch subway again ......so tomorrow a lil review and i guess were out update on the road soon.............

My bad i been very busy with my loads and miles i can tell you Melton is a very good company....better then my old company *coughs* Covenant...... and im new to the flatbed thing too.............the only thing about Melton i dont like is they dont pay you for like miles like say u got a load and somthing goes wrong with yo truck and you have drive 200 mile to get it fix you dont get paid those miles but 40 dollar to tarp yo load who pays more then that???

i been ave 1500-2000 a week

 

I saw a maroon Melton truck yesterday up here in MA. Is that like a specialized, or o/o. or is it just a god deal and couldn't pass it up???
