Howdy drivers it's been a while since I've been on! This is my four-month update, yes I'm still driving after four months and enjoying it! Lol I first started with covenant transport and run with them for about a month until I got a job with Robertsons ready mix doing local runs in Southern California. Covenant was cool I ran hard every day and I did 18 states, so it was worth it. I now work for Robertsons running a set of bottom dumps supplying all of our plants. I have to admit I really enjoy working in the construction side of trucking as opposed to freight delivery. I work 12 hours a day and usually six days a week. For the time being given my experience the pay is okay but from what I understand there are far better paying aggregate jobs out there. My ultimate goal would to be doing some oilfield work and making that big oilfield money! Lol If any of you guys know of a better paying company in Southern California I wouldn't mind the info.
