If 'on hold' it may have been reported to the DOT and once a new exam is filed the older one may be invalid......

Some come candies will accept a current DOT card, if it has say 6onths left on it, and some won't. You need to meet the requirements for A company not the average company.

Tyson does have an otr division but they have gone mostly reguonal. If you tell them you want to stay out you dont have to take home time. I have taken 34 restarts on the road before. If you are regional that doesnt mean you have to leave the truck. I used to do a dedicated. Sherman tx to Ochelata ok and back empty. I would leave with the first load Sunday and deliver the last load friday morning. I didnt go home till friday stayed in the truck the whole week. Only thi g i see maybe being a pain is you have to request personal conveyance be turned on. You have to tell why you need it and you have to show 7hrs in the sleeper before or after the pc move u less on a 34. Feel free to ask any questions

how about an owner operator run with him see if he’ll take you out for a while. You might be lucky there’s a lot of military veteran drivers out there. He will train you too , doesn’t get better than that

Come candies are one thing, but do those opinions count?
