New Entrant Safety Audit

What happens if you have a scheduled DOT New Entrant Safety Audit and can not make the appointment? Also, if you haven't enrolled in the drug consortium at the time of your Audit will they shut you down? Can you enroll the day before the audit?

 

Call and ask what options you have. As far as the drug test I'll guess you'll find out at the audit. Really I don't know I'd just call them explain whatever the situation is for reason you can't make it and see what they say.

They don't have a sense of humor about the drug deal... I'd enroll tomorrow ..

 

you will absolutely be shut down without a consortium. you may get by joining now. you have no choice but try.

don't bother cancelling because of the above,they are going to check effective join date of consortium.

Well that is what I have been seeing within researching that it is NO joke! I didn't do it because I thought that I had paid someone to do that for me....nope not the case. My fault ultimately for not following up and asking more questions until now! Thank you!

I wasn't in one when they checked me he just told me I needed to start.7 years now still haven't done it.There not checking you to fine just to tell what you need to do if your not doing it.they will let you postpone the check you could call drug testing consurtiom tomorrow think there like $150 for a year.

 

Join one tomorrow and test. Then explain to them you thought whoever helped you setup your authority was gonna setup the consortium and hope for the best.

 

Like pepper said. It's been quite a few years but when I had mine they just looked at all my paperwork etc. told me what I was missing how to fix it Then we visited over a cup of coffee and he was on his way
