Dang, $800 for the big screen. I don't see a need for it. The small screen works just fine.
Blue Zombie Trucker and Opendeckin Thank this. -
So does Google maps and it's free.
jtaran06, Snailexpress and TB John Thank this. -
Looks like an app on the Android tablet. If they have released an app and sold it for $100, I would have bought it
-
Well just remember u get what you pay for..

Are you speaking of the free google maps or an $800 screen?

While I like having a dedicated GPS sitting on my dash, I think an app on my iPad mini would be a great backup.
TTR has released their free HAMMR gps app... I haven’t played with it much yet but hoping to here soon.Blue Zombie Trucker Thanks this. -
My Garmin Dezl 7" is now showing 1,000,000 plus miles on the traffic data screen, (team operation), obviously. About 5-6 years old and still works fine. It's due for another update as it shows me off road on highways like where Ca 58 and US 395 intersect even though that new pavement has been complete for a bit.
Zues and jammer910Z Thank this. -
I downloaded after seeing your post. I think it may need a lot more work. Looks like it is providing hhg route. I put in Daleville Indiana to Bluffton Indiana , settings avoid unpaved , it still took me up a farm road as opposed to Google maps which offered a sensible route all on paved roads. HAMMR may not yet be ready for prime time.HaglerFan, speedyk and Blue Zombie Trucker Thank this.
