I posted a speech, the video link, by the President of the United States today regarding the new trade agreement between Canada and Mexico. It was pulled within minutes. This trade agreement affects us all, no matter your politics. The short sightedness of this site is disgusting. I will leave it at that.

Dude, don't take this wrong but this is not the place for political issues. Anything political seems to bring the worst out of people, so don't take it person if the mods lock or move the thread it is don etc to keep peace.

It needs to be the HEADLINE! Not relegated to a spot that one needs a special password to be involved in.

We keep political topics in their own forum so that the inevitable bickering, name calling, and other childish behavior doesn't infest the main forum.

I like you Ridge, but this I have to disagree with you on... Our livelihood, especially YOU and your business, will hinge on these trade agreements. Pretty sad, that us, so called "PROFESSIONALS" are banned from speaking of things that affect our day to day operations as truck and fleet owners. This conversation should be the epicenter of these issues, especially on this site.

Are we not ADULTS? Can we not have a civil discussion about policies that affect our industry? Are we that fragile minded that simple conversation is verboten? Seriously?

I am at a loss of words.

In person is different than online.
Where we are all 10ft tall cowboys.

OK. Without getting involved in politics, what does that change do to affect us? In a nutshell... Can Mexican or Canadian trucks enter and do interstate transport? Can Mexican Nationals be hired without a visa? What does that do...I don't feel like listening to the speech.

    KB3MMX and Oldironfan Thank this.
