Sorry to bother you all with another thread but I thought since I'm having trouble finding work maybe someone here can help. I have been trying to find something but everyone requires a year+. So I'm wondering if there is any company I have missed in my search. I don't want to do OTR I do like being gone but not that long. I got my tanker and for my hazmat I just got to go to the place to do the background fingerprint stuff. I think some of you helped me before but that thread is months old and don't feel like reading though it all over again.

@Chinatown is our resident expert on companies. He should be able to help you.

I gotta ask though, if you were given a list of companies once, and didn't try them, why?

Indeed, craigslist, and ziprecruiter has allot of current available jobs in your area. Also Uber is an option until you find a good company that you like. You can cash out with Uber for free on a debit card, 5 times a day.

Check with LTL carrier's in your area.
Somtimes they'll advertise for new CDL holders to train.
You do need hazmat, doubles and triples plus tanker. Tanker because of liquid totes. I would just go on their website and fill out apps.
R & L Carriers asks for one year but, they are looking for drivers all over the place. You might get lucky.

You could also try Schneider again since your folks took care of that contact stitsuation. They go through Maine all the time.
