Hi Guys... After searching the Internet and looking at lots of different websites I came across to this Forum. I am a 22 year old student and have been living in South Africa for the last 10 years. I got my truck driving license about 2 years ago here in SA. It is the EC code.. which means I am allowed to drive the biggest and heaviest trucks. However, after getting my License, I never bothered to drive anything for money. I actually just got it to be allowed to drive a truck so that I could help friends move houses. Now I am studying from home and actually want to earn some money but I would also like to see the world. Driving a truck across the states and maybe even Canada or South America would be dream coming true. On which door must I knock or who must I email to get that dream to come true? And what are the requirements? Also, what could I expect to be paid? and how does it work? do you get paid per mile or per hour or per load/delivery? Which state is the easiest to get things going? Also, does anybody know of companies that would hire people like me? Thanks in Advance
