Newer CDL A grad looking for o/o willing to team train

I am looking for an owner operator willing to team train me or add to my OTR experience. I am 50 yr. old RN and got my CDL A in 9/2020. I hold tanker, doubles and HAZMAT as well as Enhanced DL out of Michigan. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

 

Does it have to be an owner-operator?
Plenty of good team companies for Michigan drivers.

I will follow up with them but private owner operators are more flexible with arrangements.

 

Not sure why you'd go that route, sounds like you are ready to go on your own.

 

I really need the lifestyle acclimation and more backing practice. I was just starting to catch on when I left a major carrier due to equipment issues and multiple truck break-ins (someone had a key).

 

Maybe, I don't know. 0/0's also have insurance considerations. An 0/0 could lose everything if you're not insured to be in his truck and there's an accident or even a fender-bender.
Are you in a situation where you need certain times you can be on the road?
