Observation on my trip in SUV

    Ran up I75 and 40/81 blah blah thru north GA, TN etc in an SUV with a Little Wil and AT-6666. Heard non-stop chatter almost all the way as opposed to intermittent chatter on a CMV mirror mount. Obviously not an apples/apples comparison and there are many variables but that Lil Wil sure did seem to love that huge flat steel roof

    Have you tried one of these Firestik NGP Side Mount CB Antenna Kit

    It may solve your problem..

    Thanks Russ. I was in an SUV borrowed from my wife and if I drill holes in her car it might be the last drilling I do for a while. If you know what I mean lol

    Yeah ... I read what they posted, I have a post on another forum that goes into detail of what is a ground plane and what isn't, maybe I should post it here ... but then ... what difference would it make .. I mean you guys are the experts.
