Overdryve 8 Pro Dash Cam setup and other details?

    after a critical failure of my standalone dash cam I’m forced to use the one built into the Overdryve 8 Pro... anyone have any good thoughts about this and what’s the best way to set it up? Segments? Length of segments? Does it erase previous recordings? Continuously loop??

    “A critical failure” Did this failure involve a hammer?

    I had an Overdryve 8 pro for a short time, but ultimately returned it because of the poor quality of the tech. I was never able to get a very good image using the camera (especially in low light conditions) also as a tablet it wasn’t very functional (it didn’t support google play services, so a ton of android apps won’t work on it). On the plus side I liked the static maps and the navigation seemed pretty solid. The OverDryve pro is just trying to do too much without enough design and development to back it up. But You were asking about how the camera works, and not a tech review so here’s a link that may help (page 44 & 45 addresss some of your questions):
