Overhead : Cummins ISX 400

What does an overhead include other than a valve adjustment ?

2011 Prostar with ISX 400 with 575k miles .

Flying240, thanks for the video . I'm in Laredo where the Internet connection is ghost like . Just when you think you see it its gone .

I'm down for a 34 and the local International dealer said they could do it today . I wanted to get the list of what's included before I call them back .

Basically adjust valves and injectors. They'll inspect cams and such while in there or they should.

 

It's really not much. All they do is open the valve cover and check injector cam clearance and what not. I'm still a newbie at it. My truck is the shop for the same thing now.

 

other than valve adjustment is injector adjustment setting the preload on injectors and also engine brake adjustment it's pretty simple just a proccess and in between probably a valve cover gasket. they do inspect cams and rockers but all it is, is a visual inspection nothing really in depth.
