Is it hard to decide which load board to use, and do load boards post the same loads. Should you use the most expensive one to get the most loads to look at. Are they user friendly to some one that just got a computer to start getting their own loads.
I use several: DAT 3sixty- about $300/month Internet Truck Stop-$35/month CentralDispatch-$40/month (use this for autohaulers) I would say all user friendly. I would recommend ITS.
How does the dat 360 compare to its? I use truckersedge too just wondering what the benifits of the 360 are compared to the others.
$300 per month is not a typo - I have two users so that's why its so high. First user is $200 to add more +$100. I'm doing some account sharing *wink wink*. It makes more sense to pay $300, not $400 if we used separate accounts. ITS and DAT basically have the same loads. ITS gives a little more exposure to the smaller brokers that cant afford DAT. I like DAT because its live, meaning that you don't have to press refresh every time; when a load shows up you see it instantly. You can also watch several lanes at once. Credit for companies is included, # ITS they will charge you $15 (i think) to show credit ratings. Lately I have been taking more loads off ITS for some reason. If you have a fleet go with DAT, If you are a O/O go with ITS.
Holy wow, is it really worth that kind of money? I mean I guess you feel it is because you're still paying it but dang, that's a lot of money. Do the loads pay more on there or is the cost basically just for the live feed?
It is worth paying for it if you run more than one truck. The loads do not pay more than any other load board but it has more exposure. On DAT you have to sit and stare at the monitor waiting for a load to jump out. When it does you have about 8 sec to dial the company number or the load is gone. So you need to have someone dedicated to sit and watch; loading yourself out of a truck wont really work with DAT.
Are you asking me? I don't pull anything; I am a dispatcher. I don't load tankers and business is always slow.
