Hey, everyone. I was curious how many of you own two or more trailer types. Part of me thinks that it would be a good idea, but then I start to think about the piece of equipment I would have that's just sitting at home costing money and tying up equity while I'm out with the other trailer. Do you own more than one type of trailer and, if you do, do you find it beneficial? Thanks.

Trailers make money, trucks don’t! Lots of people in our area own multiple trailers due to seasonal work.

In my particular scenario I would have a flatbed conestoga and an RGN. I just wonder if it would behoove me to possess both since I can only be hooked to one at a time.

I own a covered wagon and a hopper. But can rent van and step deck in one phone call.

Flatbed conestoga and low pro step. I’ve had a return load on the connie since Friday. I was still able to pull the step. This might not be beneficial if you run like a gypsy.

I thought about having all three: van, reefer and open deck. Using them accordingly to what good times are for each. But the parking is too expensive where I am at.
