First and foremost I would like to thank all the members of this community for their input. Although I have been inactive on this site, the information I've attained from it has been invaluable. With that said I'll cut to the chase. I'm 27 years old, residing in Los Angeles. I received my Class A through Dolphin Trucking School last week on the first shot, in the pouring rain at that! (Still in disbelief). I am now currently looking for a job that would be the best fit for me, based/terminal near Los Angeles. I would love home time every night/every other night, but I am willing to run 2-3 weeks at a time if need be as well as team driving. I have done extensive research and called several mega-carriers that seemed a good fit for me (Werner, Prime Inc., Schneider, and CRST) but I am also open to smaller companies and/owner operators as well as hot shot trucking. Having completed training in half the time and acquiring my CDL on the first attempt, any of my instructors/the owner of Dolphin Trucking can vouch for my determination and focus. Non-drinker, non-smoker with a pristine driving record and a deep respect for safety and equipment in my care. That being said, I do in fact have a felony on my record from 2016. I realize this along with my lack of experience will inevitably narrow my range of options but I'm sure there is a great one out there for me nevertheless. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Foul weather tends to focus the mind and calm everything. Strips out the BS and fear etc.

Some of my best road tests have been taken in the worst of weather. If I can get the tester to run inside and shake it off like a wet dog then I am happy. Or in winter see if he starts complaining of the cold first. HA... (Wot? No heat in this thing? What sort of company are you anyway? Scraping ice out of the inside of the glass...

TWT Refrigerated Transport probably good for teams; .60 cpm split
Most of those companies I listed have solo & team positions.

This one in Pomona is local.
    Experience "preferred", but not "required."
I wouldn't do any local work in a truck in LA area. Traffic is horrible and can ruin a trucking career fast with a couple of minor fender benders.
