Hello all, I have been looking for a Classic XL, the one with the 84" sleeper that has the table. I have not been able to pin down the actual model for this particular truck. I have found many XL's with 84" sleeper but not sure if all 84" have the table. Does anyone know if the model I speak of and what year did they stop making that paticular model? Thanks,,, P.s. If you know where one is for sale,,plz let me know
Wow,,,really thought someone would reply. I wonder if I worded it wrong or am just not making any sense...LOL Simple,,want info on Freightliner Classic XL with the 84" sleeper and table
Looks like Freightliner's version of the Volvo 780 but without the side windows. Lot's of room to have a party...but where do you hang the mirror ball?
I know the model you speak of but I don't know when they quit making it. My Brother in law has one, it's a 2001 Classic XL and it has plenty of room, enough for two people to travel comfortably. He loves it and he has 1.7 million miles on it Cat C15. I asked him when he was going to get rid of it and he said when he retires, about another 5 years or so. He keeps the maintenance up on it, engine still looks new.
Your about a year to late. Fitzgerald had them on the lot until about this time last year. Freightliner stopped production about 18 months ago. They had the SD (Basically a standard length Classic for heavy haul) built with standard weight frame and axles for a little longer.
Resurrection time! According to Freightliners website, the Classic and XL Classic are still in production.
