    Hello all,
I have been looking for a Classic XL, the one with the 84" sleeper that has the table. I have not been able to pin down the actual model for this particular truck. I have found many XL's with 84" sleeper but not sure if all 84" have the table.

Does anyone know if the model I speak of and what year did they stop making that paticular model?

    Thanks,,,

P.s. If you know where one is for sale,,plz let me know

I thought ALL truck's had table's in them. The nickname I've heard used was , "STEERING WHEEL":biggrin_25523:

It's called a dinette. At least that is what they call it in RV's.

I wish someone would make a C-XL in a glider kit, I would buy that truck.

I know the model you speak of but I don't know when they quit making it. My Brother in law has one, it's a 2001 Classic XL and it has plenty of room, enough for two people to travel comfortably. He loves it and he has 1.7 million miles on it Cat C15. I asked him when he was going to get rid of it and he said when he retires, about another 5 years or so. He keeps the maintenance up on it, engine still looks new.

Your about a year to late. Fitzgerald had them on the lot until about this time last year. Freightliner stopped production about 18 months ago. They had the SD (Basically a standard length Classic for heavy haul) built with standard weight frame and axles for a little longer.

Resurrection time! According to Freightliners website, the Classic and XL Classic are still in production.
