    Not exactly $1100/wk...its more.

    As an O/O solo with Prime, I do not train in my equipment (trucks paid for) Q1 & Q2 this year;
    ---Q1: net $31, 001, average per/wk $2, 384
    ●●●Took 1 week off for the holidays which fell into this pay period plus a few nights/half days I passed though on a load
    ---not bad for winter time
    ---the Q1 numbers include $125/wk being put into a maintenance/emergency fund so net is really $125/wk higher, the Q2 numbers do not include this as I stopped putting the money into a Prime account, rather do it myself.

    If were leasing a 2016 cascadia Q1 would look like this;

    ---- net $18, 326 average $1, 410/wk, mind you that's winter time (after maint fund, Q2 will be before)
    ---------------------------------------------------

    Q2 net $34, 047 (agian this is as an O/O trucks paid for this as a solo I do not train)
    $2, 619 average per week
    ●●took off 4 days plus a few nights/half days I passed though on a load
    ----- and if I were leasing a 2016 cascadia Q2 would look like:
    Net $21, 372 average per week $1, 644

    In summary if your only making $1, 100/wk as a solo lease operator you're doing something wrong, or are new and still getting the hang of it, either that or you work a lot less. As you can see from my numbers if I were a lease op I'd be averaging $1, 526/wk though out the worst two quarters of the year Q3 & Q4 will be much better. You can defenantaly make money here, as a lease or on the company side.

    Martin. Bringing exciting new lows to freight rates. Don't forget, going TO ME pays pretty good, not a buttload of backhauls. Good for them. Their drivers I crossed paths with in KC were assbites.

    Not at all. Got some bad info given to you. I'd much more trust direct information.

    And, now.........the rest of the story.

    Been here (Lewiston) a couple days helping out running some of the dedicated loads for the holiday, after bringing in a load from the left coast.

    Can tell you first hand that all is well in Lewiston. Contract is not up for bid, no rumors abound, & all are happy as "pigs in a poke" 'round these parts.

    This report brought to you by your man on the scene, FullMetalJacket, actually ON the scene.........signing off.

    I am not a fan of having to run Walmart loads out of Lewiston
    As a comany driver I am very happy to get dispatched to Easton and run to Atlanta
    Had that run a few times, good miles for company

    That prime is finished. He wont be driving again for a while, especially after tearing up his final drives and tires. What a STOOPID person trying to do that. Makes me feel insulted professionally and personally.

    LOL, I think am going to start posting pics of drivers who do stupid stuff here in the desert. Lets see, saw one last week that tried to turn around on US 50 in-between Austin and Fallon, even though about a mile down the road there was a turn around spot, he blocked the road for 4 hours. or how about the ones that pull off the road, next to the signs that state soft shoulders, and buried the axles. Or how about the one that was texting on the cell phone and drifted off the road onto the salt flat LOL, he was there for a couple of days. Funny thing was none of them were from Mega carriers. One Million Miler from a major retailer (you figure it out) was swerving all over I-80 the other day as I came up on him, I got along side and could see he was texting away.
    Now don't get me started on all the trucks smoking their brakes either coming down Donner, or the Austin NV summit.
    Sorry but don't get me started, Stupid drivers happen everywhere on every company. Granted I have made my mistakes, and there have been days when I couldn't back through an aircraft hanger, and I have been driving since 74 in one form or another. Just saying we all make stupid mistakes, just some getting pointed out. LOL

    I hope that you can find peace, and some enjoyment posting what I look forward to seeing. Im sorry I upset you. Im feeling somewhat caustic today and have had to bolt my big yap shut for today in hopes that the storm passes.

    Ive done some sinning also. In fact some horrible ones. But thankful I got away with it minus some money here and there, minus some ### and so forth.

    Considering the stock coming here from Arab lands to drive our trucks in our land for 1/3 pay that I would get Im trying to fortify myself against future pictures, news articles and videos looping endlessly when they screw it up.

    Maybe I get a dollar truck and make some mods to it and ship it to Arab lands and show them how it's done. Again, apologies. I'll shut up now.
