I talked to one of my classmates who attended Werner orientation but he says that he was sent home because he left a speeding ticket off his online application but included it on the app he filled out in orientation. That just seems ridiculous to send anybody home for that. I will be attending Werner orientation in Lakeland on the 16th but what I want to know is does your online app determine what they look at or do they go by the application you fill out at orientation. I don't intend on falsyfing any info but I'm asking this because I might need to call my recruiter back and double check some minor details. I would hate to get sent home for some small detail I neglected.
Get a two copies of your mvr. One to staple to your app. and one to keep for yourself to bring to orientation. Problem solved. I recommend a resume too. This way there is NO descrempencies in your info. This will also put you ahead of everyone else.
I'd bet they decide if you're "good enough" for employment by the online application. Then they have you do the paper app when you're sitting around learning all about the wonders called Werner! Do the on line app as well or better than the one you'll fill out later. I bet you'll get a "ding" on your DAC now called "falsified application!"
Thats good advice chompi, but how important is the on-line app? Do I just have to make sure the orientation app is perfect or is it vital that everything on my online app is squared away?
