Six of one, half dozen of the other. Flip a coin.

I think I'd take Stevens before CRST.

I'd say what's the hurry? unless you have a CDL and certificate, then there is a hurry.

I'd go with what Lilbit said.

Best help I can give you is to not make that decision that quickly! Personally I would look into some smaller companies, they are going to be your best chance at success. If you are dead set on these two companies then your in luck because they are both mega-carriers and mega-carriers are pretty much all the same. Bring in newbies, pay them cheap until they quit, refill the seats with more cheap newbies! Does that help?

Seriously if you want to make a good go of this I would put a little more effort into it. Good rule of thumb is to avoid the companies that are doing the most advertising for drivers. Try this website, just type in the city or town you live in and it will give a list of companies in your area that are hiring.

You may also want to try this website. It will give a list of just about every company their is in your area. It is a really good site that will help you find a smaller mom and pop company where you are treated like a human being instead of a number.

You live in Indiana, the sky's the limit when it comes to choosing a trucking company there! Your home time will probably be a little easier living in IN. too! Good luck to you!

I understand the shopping around. I have cdl but Ive had a couple tickets and CRST and Stevens are the only 2 offers I had come. I've applied to almost every company here. Who is the better choice..

There are 450,000 trucking companies in the US! This is just advice from an experienced driver who has been through the ropes I would keep trying if I were you. They most definitely are not the only two companies who are going to hire you! They are just the ones who have responded to you from the few apps you have filled out.

well first off what are your tickets for???? that may be the real kicker here...if it was for reckless driving or excessive speed....then you could be up against a wall...but like most folks here have already said.......if it was between those two only....go with stevens

check out Knights squire program. There is a terminal in Indy on W.Minnesota .go out with a trainer and about 3-4 weeks have your own truck. Just my opinion.
