Just updated to the 720 and for some reason I can't rate Walmarts. It shows the little circles to the right to rate but doesn't give the option button at the bottom right like it does for truck stops & rest stops to rate them. Is this something wrong with my settings? I can't figure out where I'm missing it. Had no problem with my 710. Any ideas?

Don't think it's that. I just like to rate them when I know they have easy access for trucks, lots of parking, etc. Sometimes also it will say overnight parking ok but when you get in there they have No Trucks signs so I like to note that for future reference. I'm not rating them to give em a hard time. I appreciate the ones that let us park there. ;)

most are no parking. and that'll probably be the future for all so get used to it.

some even have security to make sure we aren't parking there.

Paducah, KY doesn't want you to park there at their place. Here where we live it has gone back to letting trucks park after a couple of years of no parking.

Any walmart that lets trucks park overnight gets a 5/5 IMO. The only time i park overnight at walmart is if there are no truck stops for a while. In return i always buy a few things as a "thank you" for letting me park.

If truck drivers would stop throwing out their garbage bags and dumping their piss in the parking lot, and parking towards the side rather than right in the middle of the lot, maybe more would let us park.

Well we would stop as need be for parking, and shopping, and esp refilling prescriptions since they are all over the US. Never did any damage to their lot or left it messed up. We were always appreciative of having a bathroom at least available also. But I know it takes a few to mess it up. And like someone said city ordinances has a lot to do with it now, and don't forget EPA might give them a fine if you idle your truck.

It's kinda like when we were kids (married then) and everyone liked to drive around the square in town and then park in the Western Auto lot. No one got noisy or rowdy, but the hotel next door didn't like it, so the city council put a kabosh on it. The store owner liked for the kids to be around because it kept the burglary rate down., Kids here in town did the same thing but parked at the Chevron which the guy did not mind, police was always hassling them.
