What do you know about Roadlink these days, they run intermodal. I am considering running O/O for them out of Chicago along the I-55 corridor around Joliet IL.

Running Honda and other loads from Chi-Town to OH, KY etc.

Anyone doing the TX to IL runs for them?

i think this outta be under motor carrier questions...but since yer thinkin of o/o we'll let it fly

i dont know much about any intermodel...but i hear its really cheap (i wont hual any contanaror on my flat...rates are way to low)
they expect you to fix a trailer that ain yers, run heavy and all for a low, low rate

my advice.....buy a trailer and leaase on at a decent company

The problem with Roadlink is that they will not put any type of Fuel Surcharge in their contract. You never know until you get paid what, if any fuel surcharge you'll get. I had a couple of trucks leased to Transus Intermodal for a couple years then Roadlink bought them and took away the fuel surcharge. Roadlink is owned by a investment company. Their profits is all that matters to them.

Rail freight has slowed to a near stop as of late. I have been pulling containers for nearly 6 years and this is the worse it's been.
