Just came back OTR and now running teams. We both agree that running hard 11s is the best way to make the most money. Can someone "idiotproof" the idea of a team rolling reset? I appreciate any help yall offer. Thanks... One more thing, im on paper logs if that makes a difference.

Didnt stay with them long at all.. lol the only positive thing I can say about jim is he gave me a shot when no one else would. And im thankful for that experience even if it was a s#!tty one. But im now running with another company and just tryin to stay as legal as I can and maximize the profit margin ya know?

Just don't get caught by dot outside of that sleeper berth while on line 2 and you'll be O.K.

Running hard 11's is not going to make you any more money. You'll figure that out soon enough. The best way is straight up 10 hour shifts if you guys can handle it.

That's kinda what he is saying ....think the only way to not run out is to run 8.75 hrs a day ,... We usally ran what the load required ...UPS loads were a fast dispatch and had to run 10-11 hrs a shift ..fast switch out as well

I don't know that you can with the 2 periods from 0100 to 0500 home terminal timezone requirement. The only way I see is to shut down for at least one of those periods, plus you have the once in 168 hours or greater, i.e., one per week or longer. You also have to show a 30 minute break after being on duty 8 hours, before resuming driving.

Makes you wonder if they consider all of the complications changing the rules tends to cause. I'd hate to try to figure out if you were doing it according to the new rules, before them, it was fairly straightforward. Still complicated enough, though.

It would be considered a log book falsification.
