little bit of work involved getting it setup. i personally prefer a more out of box, plug it in. and set it up thing. LOL. without the extra steps involved.

i have a wireless printer. but haven't thought about buying a router to actually make the method work. though it would be nice to get rid of the cable and print from the driver seat.

other then that. it's a pretty self explaning video.

oh, and go with linksys. i've never had long lasting luck with d-link.

I use an old wifi hotspot. But a router with no modem will work too.

Got it working pretty good. Was a little bit of a PITA, but well worth the effort.

had to hook it to the cable modem in the house, and set the router via an actual desktop pc. Same thing with the brother airprinter, had to be set up on an actual pc with internet support.

Step 2 took it all out to the truck and plugged it in. Works great.

The only rough spot I havent been able to figure a work around yet. When I scan from printer to Ipad I have to turn on the Wireless. After the scan is complete I turn off the wireless app, and use Verizon 3G to send out the email. Otherwise it tries to use the wireless router and ignores Verizon.

Im using a brother printer, with the brother iprint&scan app. It is a God send.

It works so well in fact that I have switch over to electronic log book app "Drivers Daily Log"
