hey for those of you that are in the classses or are just about to start, how long did it take before they gave you a date to be there? i am wondering cause i have been having problems getting a date set for the classes. i was told to call back on the 2oth of jan i did and was told even though you are on the top of my list i cant find anything. and to call back tomorrow. so i did and got the run around and was told that those who drive straight trucks dont pass the road test. even though i keep telling them that i want to do the school so i can get use to driving again.
I went through a local school on my own and have been waiting to get into an orientation since August. I just got a call from my recruiter today setting up a date. Depending on where you live it could be a while.
on a other thread. Nanna said they are only hiring people who live in Az. You shouldn't have a problem. keep trying I guess.
I talked to a recruiter back in july of 09 and done my app and had everything done. She called and said she was going to start my app process and that she would keep in touch. One month rolled around and nothing, so I called her back and she said they were still processing my app. September rolled around and still nothing, I know for sure my work record was PERFECT, my DMV record was PERFECT, my DAC report was SPOTLESS, my credit score is GOOD so I called back after about October and left a message on her machine telling her what kind of sorry ##### her and SWIFT were. I mean at least have enough BALLS to tell someone the simple truth, that was 3mths I wasted.
yeah like i said going to call again tomorrow. i am not going to give up. my biggest prob is i have my cdl-a but have not driven a standard commerical rig ina while the company i work for all our crew trucks are auto's
