Is running teams a good idea for someone thats inexperienced. I have a job offer to do that on a dedicated route.

Unless you got other offers, do it, its very difficult (if not impossible) to get a driving without any experience. After 6 months or a year, you could look at moving on if they wont let you out of team driving.

A lot of companies seem to be putting newbies together for a while until they are equipped enough to get their own truck... It may be for safety reasons, it may be due to the economy or a little of both. I agree with JTR above, it may be hard otherwise so if you can get your foot in the door with a company for experience it will help you in the long run.

Make sure you pack patience along with your socks and underwear though, you will need it!
