I start orientation (experienced driver) in Portland,OR on Monday.
They got me a room and will take care of breakfast and lunch I was told,I'm on my own for dinner.
Not sure about elsewhere but they were going to send me to Fontana,CA for a full week, said they'd get me a room and fly me down there.
Hard to believe but Alaska airlines was less money than riding the dog. (Greyhound)

same as Y2K - I did orientation 2 years ago in Atlanta and they put me up at a motel (with a shuttle available). Orientation included breakfast and lunch. Your recruiter will give you the details.

Just finished my first day of orientation in Portland, experienced drivers are separated into a different class so that's where I was.
The hotel is quite nice and Schneider's facility is as well.
So far so good, passed the physical endurance tests and got through the first day of classroom stuff.
