Signed on to Trans Am Orientation 14th August

Just got the call Im going to Rockwall Tx August 14th for Trans Am , very excited to get going if anyone else is going to be there this date post up

Yes Vets I know I wont be signing a lease no matter what Im a company guy and will be so until I learn the business

anything anyone can pass on about rockwall or orientation is greatly appreciated ...

TransAm has their own thread on here, it is really helpful(I saw you have already found it).
My husband is finishing his "Coach" time this weekend, Always available to answer any questions.
If you can afford to pay the airfare, fly there. My husbands reimbursement check from them was $167, and I know Southwest airlines is about that price. If you wanna fly out of Melbourne, look at Delta, as they are the only ones that fly from there. You will be flying to the Dallas Love Field, DAL airport code NOT DFW.
The Best Western is really nice and clean. The indoor pool is cold, but the hot tub is great. Breakfast is really nice. My husband walked to Wal-mart, and any restaurants. The rooms are equipped with fridge and microwave.
They will tell you payday is Fridays, but your check shows up in your bank during the day on Monday if you choose direct deposit.
They will try to sell you on a lease.My husband was adamant no lease, but then he called me and was trying to convince me to let him go lease.

The Rockwall terminal is tiny and far from impressive. Olathe is nicer. You stay at thr Best Western and their breakfast and the breakfast lady are practically famous. There is a TA right down the street from the terminal and pretty much across from Best Western. If you enjoy sushi, hit up Edo Japan right next to the TA.

 

ok so how does pay work? someone told me after you drop a load trailer etc you have paper work showing such , you send that paper work to trans am and they pay you a few days later? so paydays are irregular? or am I way off base?

 

Trans am is the best company every. I get 5000 miles a week

 

Regular pay system, paid once per week, on Fridays.

 

When they switched to the new pay system ((paid fot all might run up through midnight on thursday night)) they started asking to get paperwotk in within 12 hours of your empty call. Procrastinate too long and Cathy in payroll will start calling you, lol.

 

Honeybadger don’t care… Honeybadger don’t give a ####, Honeybadger is also right, they did switch to a new pay accounting system, the miles you drive can get counted sooner. However, don't be confused, still paid once per week, on Fridays.
