Speaking of which, I need to get a new program of the channels.

I've either lost or can't find a couple that I always listened to on XM.

    Muleskinner Thanks this.

They both sucked before, now they'll just be a bigger sucker, LOL. Sirius used to INFURIATE me when they would put sports games on almost EVERY channel in place of my favorite shows. Oh, I used to get so mad...mad enough I got rid of them and won't use either anymore. Screw it, I put books on my iPod and I like that.

    Muleskinner Thanks this.

All I know is I have a multi-year subscription to XM and now most of the stuff I listen to is gone. Most of all Dan Dixon which was every truckers friend and he's history.

Thank God they didn't get rid of Kevin Rutherford or my radio would have been out in the street.

Mike- There is a movement to get Dan back on the air, but we gotta move quickly. I directed the two ladies running the petition to this website hoping they can find support and help here from more of Dan's listeners. For those who may not know Dan, he was every trucker's friend, nightly on XM Channel 10 America. He did an all request show and talked to everyone who called in and played requests. As truck drivers, we work in an environment that makes it all too clear that no one cares about our time, paychecks, or feelings. That's why we have so much love for Dan. Dan's show was the equivalent of sitting down in front of a warm fire with a hot cup of cocoa and swapping stories with an old dear friend. We have spent many nights "truckin' with Country Dan" and we are mourning the loss of our
    riding buddy.

Here is a link to the article about the petition to keep Country Dan on the air. So far these ladies have collected over 3,000 signatures. What's really frustrating is the fact that they just hired someone for the Siriusly Sinatra Channel. Now comon- you are going to tell us that you cant afford to keep our country DJ, but you can afford a DJ for a station that hosts obsolete music and plays it 24/7? :biggrin_25510:

They got rid of Buzzsaw.....:biggrin_25510:!!! Now its AC/DC crap on the Boneyard and that just sucks!!!!!!!!!!

As for the trucking channel the only good thing on there is The Lockridge Report and sometimes The Loading Dock. Jonesy is pointless and Freewheeling is well pointless also i guess.
