First of all, I'm not a phone geek. Now that we got that out of the way, I recently (finally) upgraded my iPhone 4 to IOS 6. I knew the maps were bad but I didn't realize how bad: No Street View, and (HORRORS!) NO EXIT NUMBERS!! But it turns out there is a solution and you don't have to jailbreak your phone. The app is called 'Maps+ Street View' by Brainflash . Just make sure you click on the upper left corner and select 'Google" as your preferred map source. Oh, and it'll set you back a whole dollar.

Ive heard rumors but ill believe it when I see it...but then I s'pose if Apple is actually concerned about customer retention- and they may be just arrogant enuf not to be- then we'll get it back in some form. But I'm not holding my breath.
