Something All New Drivers Should Need to Know....

First off I am fairly new myself but this is what I have learned

!. Go to a trucks top and pick up all the free trucking mini magazines. Those are companies you don't want to work for. They have a million adds for a reasonn

2. If you are going to your first company and they offer a dedicated route, stop and ask yourself why drivers with time in there haven't jumped on it. Stay Away

You shouldnt even be there!! You should be running for the DOJ or DOD...them top security gigs reserved for x cops and military, what the hay?

 

Here's one.

Don't tailgate. Don't run against your governed speed. Don't slow pass, and certainly don't cut people off. Just hang out in that passing lane until that feller in the cruising lane has a safe following distance. And for gosh sakes if you see a hill up ahead, and your loaded heavy don't try and pass.

If you sit down with a calculator and run the simple math of .5-1mph for the few minutes you have to slow down, it don't add up to much. You may at most miss out on $7 for the day.

I guess that was more than one.

If you think about it... Every time you turn the tap on and drink it, you realize we are drinking dinosaur piss?

One you missed Icsheeple, don't take your break at the fuel pumps. Fuel and pull up. If you gotta run inside for 10 minutes and it's not busy, then you're good once you've pulled up. But don't block the lanes...
