Well, you figured out how to start a new thread. Best way is to do the following:

-Start on the home page of the forum, from there, navigate to the sub forum that makes the most sense. Then, at the top of the list of threads under that forum, on the left side you will see a blue button that says New Thread. Click that, and it will take you to a page that will ask for a title, and a box for the body of the thread. Type your message and go down and hit submit.

Can you delete a thread/post after is been started? Or request it to be?

You can use the 'Report post' button to request that it be deleted, but it's not a sure thing. Those requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Generally speaking, if it's been quoted or has had discussion from other members, it won't be deleted.

That is unless it violates forum guidelines and a whole bunch of posts get deleted. However, with any deletion, the mod must make plausible reason for such an extreme action.

Ain't that what dog said? Basically we won't delete threads if they have replies. No replies and someone asks we will help them. People post about their company all the time and have second thoughts after they get over the rage. Sure we'll help to keep them out of trouble. If there are replies we might help edit out a name or something. We won't delete normal replies without a person's permission.

About the only time we would delete a thread with replies is if a spammer or troll sneaks by and here comes the mob. Then you have the one's that turn political that get moved. Like dog said it's a case by case basis. We'll do what favors the majority and is in everyone's best interest. We ain't hard to get along with.

We just ask if you mess up is to try and report it as quick as possible to avoid replies. Use that little black triangle with an explanation mark in it to report psycle.
