starting cdl school what all do i need to study

    was wanting to know what all i need to study , in the ohio hand book for my temps , im not driveing doubles or tanker ,,or people,aka a bus,,,didnt know if that stuff was gonna be on the test..for my class A ,,,i start school in about 4 weeks and have to have my cdl temps first any advice would be greatfull ,,,,.

    Study everything. Absorb the Basic Information from the book. At school learn the basics of equipment and the varies setups of backing up and maneuvering on surface streets . Companies will give you details and policies. Go with the flow future brother. Learn the basics.

    Go to the top of this page and click on "CDL Practice Tests" and memorize those.

    In Ohio, since you said you don't need doubles or tank endorsement, you need to study the general knowledge, air brakes, and combination sections to get your class A. Also if you need a haz-mat endorsement you will need to study that section as well.
