I am starting school with swift nov. 3rd, what will i need, while there and what to look out for, thx
Speaking of Swift, I came across this today and can't resist. Now, all you Swifties out there take it easy; it's just for fun. No advice for you Kawa, but best of luck. Warning, there is four letter word at the very end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He63lyn3fGM&feature=related
You will need clothes for a couple of weeks. Since winter is coming on, make sure you take winter gear such as gloves, hat, scarf, long johns, and other appropriate clothing. Money, debit card, etc. Have they provided a list of any kind yet? Usually, companies will give you a list of things to bring, especially documents such a your birth certificate, driver's license, etc.
Dr. that was funny! If I can't get my financing secured I may have to train with them - at least I have thick skin ~Jason
Oh, you'll also need a good attitude! Sounds like you have a good sense of humor, and that will help you out there, and so will the thick skin.
That is funny Dr. V! In my case, with my first trainer, it also stood for 'Student With Idiot For Trainer'.
There's are some great Swifties out there but sadly they are greatly outnumbered by those that are cheated out of proper training. It's purely a numbers game, you see more stupid Swift moves because there are more Swift trucks out there. Every driver has the potential to be good, but not every driver is given the tools. If you have to go the Swift route, no shame; do what you gotta do. I found this 'ad' amusing because my first day out with my first trainer, we had two Swift trucks attempt a blindside back into a spot next to us, both had to be stopped before hitting our truck. BTW, there is one of these ads for just about every major carrier.
