Starting on Tuesday...Very excited/nervous. How is orientation? Is it strict and tight, or just kind of laid back and relaxed? I'm ready for anything, but it's just good to know what to expect.

And of course I have to do my 320 BTW training, but I'm okay with that.

When you get those 320 hours, are you out non stop until you get them, or do you get a break in between? I don't mind, but I'm just curious.

Any answers is great. I'm excited to start an awesome career. And good luck to anyone else that is starting.

Unless they changed it its 240 hours. Only way you will go home is if your mentor does and lives near you otherwise you will be out the whole time. Should take anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Orientation is boring, plan on lots of paperwork and safety videos.

Go find a thread telling you what to take with you when training in the "experienced trucker advise."
