Yeah, CRST needs drivers that assault other people. DON'T say a thing about your hand OR you'llbe on the bus back to Buffalo.
Ive been trying to get ahold of the recruiters at CRST in Iowa but can't i've got a bus ticket for tonight to head there the problem is a fracture in my right hand i just dont want to travel all the way there just to get sent home until this heals,im just confused and frustrated as to what i should do.ughhhhh!
kinda hard to hide the splint i have on my hand that's why i was trying to get ahold of someone there
Don't waste your time and CRST's time. Have you left a voicemail or sent e-mails to your recruiter? If so you did your best>just call Monday am first thing and apologize for not being there and tell them you want to reschedule for January. Go in a couple of weeks when you are healed up.
i did leave a voice mail for my recruier but got no response and the only advice other recruiters are giving me are to go and see if i cant get a medical wavier
And if you can't get the waiver (who is paying for the DR visit) then what? Are you prepared to pay out of pocket for a bus ride home?
i hear what your saying and it makes since i just wish someone from there would call me to let me know what to do,thanks for the advice.
Did your recruiter not give you a cell number? I am also leaving to a different company today to start orientation and training and my recruiter called me this morning to make sure I am all set still. IDK what time you leave today, but just keep calling and emailing. If you dont get a response then I guess use your best judgment. If you can drive still I would think you would be fine. Unless you are trying to do flat or something that will require you to do a lot of physical work. I went through a private school and I never had to do anything that I would not been able to do with a little fracture in my hand.
she has my number and i just emailed and called her again left another voicemail my bus leaves buffalo at 6:50 tonight so hopefully i will hear something by at least 5,man i know i can drive these trucks i did a lot of that in the army,im just frustrated right now because i really want to get started.
I would go. There is a good chance that if you can show them that it will not affect your driving they will let you stay. Also if the other recruiters said they will give you a waiver then you should be good to go.
