I have come across *several* stupid questions on practice test websites, and I also remember a few on the mvd permit test the first time I failed, heres an example of a practice test question To correct a rear wheel (drive wheel) braking skid, you should:

A Apply more braking pressure to the brake pedal

B Release brakes and accelerate.

C Apply more pressure to the brake pedal and steer counter steer.

D Release the brakes and steer / counter steer. According to my state manual you should stop braking, and counter steer to correct. so why would you release brakes and ACCELERATE? For this question I chose D, correct answer was B. That makes no sense! Why have questions like this on practice tests and actual mvd permit test? This can cause you to fail!

EDIT: I just looked at some practice test. it says the correct answer is release brakes and steer/counter steer. So the answer you chose was correct. It is probably a mistake somewhere.
Not sure about the practice tests, but the real test they want you to fail. they word the questions in a tricky way. On the real test, just read very carefully and you will be ok
