Why am I automatically subscribed to every thread I post in and receive an email notification? I don't want to subscribe to ANY thread.

    Thanks,

In your settings you were set up to subscribe to all threads....I think that's the default setting when you first register here. I took the liberty of going into your user profile and changing that for you, so you should not be subscribed to any new threads from this point forward.

If you want to change this yourself in the future you can go to your user Control Panel, it's at the top left of page... User CP, then go to Settings & Options and click on Edit Options, then you will see a box on the right labeled Messaging & Notifications, and under Default Thread Subscription Mode you can set your preferences.

When you post to a thread, you can also scroll to the bottom, and enter your preference as to what kind of suscription you want for that paticular thread before you sumit your post. You can go back later and change that if you wish.

The way I like to do this is to use "no e-mail notification" to threads I wish to keep up with. This way when I log in, I can click "User CP" in the upper left hand corner, and see all threads that have replies.

Mastertech and Big Don Thank this.

Also, every thread update that the forum sends out has an "Unsubscribe" option at the bottom of the email. Just click the link and you're unsubscribed from that thread.
