I don't know the details, just the resuts. From what I understand it wasn't his fault. As I said I don't know the details. I just found out about it a few hours ago.

I just talked to him a couple days ago. He had a horrible unload somewhere in MI. Spent hours trying to figure why it wouldn't air off. First his hose ended up being clogged, but the main reason was the customer had some hidden valve closed that they forgot about. I pray for his full recovery. Hopefully Superior doesn't come down on him too hard.

Got home around 3PM Saturday and headed back out at 6AM Monday. Running a N Chicago Dedicated out and back load. I will drop it by noon Wednesday with a good start to this week.

Been quiet around here. I took a few days off over the Holiday and took care of some stuff around the house. Gotta go renew my Haz-Mat tomorrow. Finally got all the work done on my pickup.

Puddin' seems to be doing well. His vision is coming back slowly.

OH MY... that's no good at all. Hope he gets better.

And seems like you guys are pretty happy with Superior. They have a local terminal 2 miles from my house but everytime i go in and ask, they are not hiring drivers (I am an O/O)

    That's good to hear.

If anyone is heading to High Point Scott has a San Bernadino Ca load that delivers next Wed or Thurs. He offered it to me but I am scheduled for vacation time 9/19-21 and wouldn't be back in time for that. It probably loads Friday.

I am home for the evening. Probably going to do a paint load to Holland Mi and back to finish off the week. Good week 3K+

We blow a lot of hoses. I have hard time understanding why. The hoses are 200psi, the relief valve on the pump is at something less than 200psi.

The thought of a hose rupturing and getting drenched with God knows what is awfully unsettling.

Regarding hoses, I write em up if they look beat or have been run over. Beyond that we are trusting the tank washes.

Pump certification is strictly up to our shops.

It happens way to often to NOT be on somebody's radar.

I do too but what can you do when they are in short supply. On some system loads its a major PITA just finding enough hoses to cover the load. Bottom line is buy more new ones more often.

Yep, this is probably my biggest gripe with the company(other than my particular terminal being hard to get out of) is the hose situation.

I had an out and back load that specified a pump unload and a rear unload trailer. That's a bunch of hoses if you can't drop the trailer and move the truck into position. The best I could find after digging through 30+ trailers was 3 2" and 2 3". Pretty sad. We should have hoses running out of our ears.

Slow last week. Didn't get out at all. Got an out and back that delivered today and I am back home already. We will see when I get back out again. 5 ahead of me on the board.
