My buddy is looking to join swift with me and my father, but he get disability pay for having sleep apnea through the army, will this disqualify him,he has a cpap machine and never misses any sleep.
So as long as he has the paperwork showing he has sleep apnea and a machine he's Good? He rarely uses it due to him being able to sleep on his own.
Saw the title and figured I'd read some bs story about how the company was blaming their reputation on it
Do you know if they check into medical records and his va disability pay or what he's disabled for? if he dosnt mention it and passes their physical? He isn't over weight or have a 17 inch neck so could he skate by and he won't even be picked for the study? Sorry for all the questions just a really good friend and good vet looking to get his life going after the military.
Ive always been the dont ask dont tell kind of guy... if he isnt over weight...and has a smaller neck.....just say he doesnt snore .....they won't look into it ..... honestly if hes mentality fit to drive a truck....id let it ride sir
Being honest gets you nowhere in this career... check no on everything when you get your papers to fill out..... BTW FROM ALL OF US....THANKS FOR HIS SERVICE!
Sleep apnea really has nothing to do with sleeping on your own, and everything about getting REM sleep. Real sleep. And not taxing your heart & other organs to an early death.
Whereas being dishonest gets you someplace better? And if this guy is collecting disability for a condition that no longer exists, I would say his service is tainted.
