It depends on what your goals are, how you intend yo achieve them and whether you're planning to go company or lease. I was with Prime for nearly 2 years before returning to Swift. Would you please be a little more specific?

I want to get experience as a company driver 1st. min 2 yrs before I even tackle a L/O. I was looking into SWIFT because they have a OC In Sumner, WA near the house but I prefer E-log less hassle not sure yet but I will keep optionss open

If what you want to do is roll hard as a company driver, Prime is probably your better bet. You will have to complete 50K miles with an "A" seat driver before you're turned loose on your own. You should be prepared for the pressure to lease. I believe fully half of the company is lease.

They have a very nice terminal in Springfield, MO, decent equipment and excellent benefits. Medical is Blue Cross/Blue Shield. But you are expected to run hard.

Prime will not pressure you to lease. I have spoken to a few drivers, they were asked if they were interested once, they said no and it was never brought up again.
