I know a guy who's sister's ex-boyfriend used to work for a guy who ate lunch with his wife where the waiter's father-in-law's next door neighbor used to run for a company that used Volvos to haul heavy loads up hill both ways -- who claims he gets 17.3 mpg, easy.

    I'd call that pretty good.

Friend of mine haul step deck coast to coast. His Prostar with ISX averaged 5.8MPG.My VOLVO VED16 haul triaxle dry box with average gross 95,000 lbs has 5.2-5.1 MPG.I'm telling truth and expect the same from others, but most of opponents can't stop lying.:biggrin_25511:

Dang it man dont They are younger and been driving for years maybe 15 R 20 yrs.Get better MPG than anyone on the road Got the best truck and engine more HP runs faster. Can go from daylite to dark in two and a half hours. You can hear this at any T/S.I know a man htat had a 1965 GMC drag axle 10 sp.238 detroit did not brag on it but he did have a great big smile on his way to the bank with his check.Would not trade that truck even for any large car.

I always preferred to run east to west --
'cause I heard on the CB that that made me get younger.
    Didn't work.
Headin' back east aged me an additional 70 hours in eight daze. :biggrin_25525: :biggrin_25523:

Who made the engine with the bucket under it?
    :biggrin_2551:

I don't believe you.Looks like you spend all your time at truckers forums to let to know everyone how skilled you are despite your age and how stupid and unskilled other truckers except you.Don't act like a clown, just relax and be polite with seniors.:biggrin_25522:
