Title pretty much says it all. Been running the toll roads in Texas since 2013, and have never been charged for them. Ever. I always run the toll road to stay out of San Antonio and Austin.

As of March, they started deducting the tolls from the settlement. Got hit for around $250.00.

Oh well, that gravy train is over, just giving everyone a heads up before the next time they think about taking the toll road.

They are supposed to be reducing the toll tax on that stretch of highway. I just stay off the toll roads.

Wait until someone runs a stoplight and gets creamed. Make those tolls seem pretty cheap.:biggrin_25512:

Was told today by another IC he had the 294 toll around Chicago deducted from his friday settlement from last month and the explanation he was given is that tolls will only be paid IF Jill routes you that way otherwise tolls are deducted per the ICOA.

I do too, but with the drop visor it doesn't pick up half the time and we gotta call and got through that mess. Still worth it.

I may have to do this now. I see Texas quite often and I have no interest in running through Austin and San Antonio unless I have to.

If I gotta pay, might as well pay less with the transponder.

I hope that was just talk, considering we aren't required to use the Qualcomm for routing.
