Time off requirement for a Refresher?

How much time away from the industry can you take before companies will make you take a refresher course to get a new job?

 

I got hired by swift being 1.5 yrs out of a truck without a refresher. This was back in 2012.
Now I been 2.5 yrs away from a truck again. So will be trying again as soon as I get my medical card renewed

 

Please let us know how it goes... especially if you don't choose swift this time around.

 

Gonna take about 3 months. Have to get blood pressure back under control and take a sleep apnea test( this is reason I quit this time aroumd)

 

Different companies have different requirements.
