Tips for unloading and delivering

    Recently got a job to deliver for starbucks we use ryder vans with a ramp.
    Any tips and tricks to doing this faster?
    I didnt get trained just said here you go and drive. Been taking me a long time to do 1 stop. Mainly the milk and how to stack boxes and stuff lije that.

    Load to route.
    Plan your routing/don't get lost, right.
    Be pleasant to people engaging you but keep moving.
    Fuel your truck at the end of thr shift and post trip it.
    You'll find other shortcuts as you learn the job. Good luck.

    Just get regular CDL and drive regular truck you don't have to worry about loading and unloading all that stuff

    You're going to have good days and bad days doing P & D, be courteous & polite, trip planning works, and each day you'll get better at doing your job.

    Truck driver isn't going unload the trucks they just back into a loading dock on the set the brakes..
