Can you make good pay with TMC and be home on the weekends? Are the trucks goverend at a certain speed? I was a recent driving school graduate and decided to work for a local company but the benifits arent there and the pay isnt that great so I'm thinking about going with TMC.....

speed is set at 62 mph on all company trucks unless you are owner operator
the pay will depend on you as the driver how hard can you push your self new drivers going into flatbed take a few months to get good at tarping by good i mean cut the time down that it takes to secure your loads before taxes i have been averaging $1100 weekly and been home every weekend but i only been here 2 months

You can make some decent money with them. You run hard, have a FM thats worth half a ####, a decent planner that chases good freight, you can still come out on top even making it home most weekends. Living out there in MD would probably be alright for you as opposed to living in the northern plains.
